Membership Options

A tax-deductible Charlotte Lit membership supports our work and provides you with great benefits including discounts on classes, twice-weekly Open Studio (community writing time), and members-only events.

To join as a member, choose one of the options below. To make a one-time or recurring donation, go here. However you choose to give, thank you for supporting the literary arts in Charlotte. We’re here for you, and couldn’t do our work without you.

General Memberships

  • General Membership
  • $75 per year or $7 per month
  • Benefits: Member pricing for classes (savings of 20 percent or more); two free members-only programs each year; Open Studio (community writing time in our Uptown Charlotte studio), Tuesdays and Thursdays 11-1; members-only online community; craft book lending library; and invitations to occasional members-only events.

  • $250 per year or $21 per month
  • Benefits: All Family Member benefits, plus an annual gift of a signed book from a visiting author.
